Delete your Areed account

This page explains how to request the deletion of your Areed account and its associated data.

Option 1: in the app (immediate)

1. Open the Areed app and sign in.
2. Go to Account → Delete account.
3. Read what will be deleted and confirm.

The deletion happens immediately after confirmation.

Option 2: without the app

If the app is no longer installed or you cannot sign in, send a deletion request from the phone number registered on the account to:

We may ask you to prove ownership of the number before deleting; requests are completed within 30 days at most.

What is deleted

• Your phone number on the account, your profile photo and store logo; your name is replaced by "Deleted user".
• The photos of your offers are deleted from storage; your offers, store and bank accounts are hidden immediately from everyone.
• Your comments, bids, ratings, follows, and community questions and replies with their photos.
• Sessions, registered devices and push tokens, favorites, block list and notifications.

What is kept and why

• Messages you already sent remain with the other participant (who sees your account as unavailable).
• Records of deleted offers, reports, violations, boost requests and the admin audit log: for moderation, fraud prevention, financial records and legal obligations.
• Verification-code request records are deleted automatically after 7 days, server logs after 14 days.
